À travers l’histoire de Nora, une enseignante, et Théo, son élève, ce livre construit pas à pas les outils nécessaires pour décider correctement quand on n’a jamais un accès direct à la vérité, seulement des indices : le théorème de Bayes, le formalisme des POMDP, et plusieurs méthodes de résolution, avec du code Python testé à chaque étape et des exercices pour tout refaire soi-même.

Through the story of Nora, a teacher, and Théo, her student, this book builds up, step by step, the tools needed to decide correctly when you never have direct access to the truth, only to clues: Bayes’ theorem, the POMDP formalism, and several solution methods, with tested Python code at every step and exercises to work through it yourself.
